Why being too responsible can harm your business

When a business leader carries weight, their team can be greatly affected.

Getting a job and meeting the needs of others, especially those around you, is a sign of strong leadership in Arab culture.

A great leader, of course, is one who anticipates the needs of others and speaks to them before they ask.

When I first started in business, I was advised to always be proactive, anticipating the needs of my team and treating them the way I would treat my family.

I love this about our culture – how we are always encouraged to think of others when we think of ourselves, think of the common good and support our community.

And although it is important to think about others, we should not forget to take care of our own needs, especially when it comes to shopping.

Contrary to popular belief, there is such a thing as too much responsibility.

Business leaders can be overwhelmed by their team members’ problems.

For example, one of my business acquaintances will work overtime and on his own vacation because he feels guilty that his new team member might be overweight.

This situation eventually took so much time that he could not focus on his own work: leading the business and thinking of his long-term strategy.

Although he realized how he fell behind in achieving his goals and began to feel tired, he decided to delegate this task to other members of the team.

In fact, being overweight may not be the biggest risk a business owner will face.

However, when a business leader takes responsibility, then their team, as well as their business, is positively affected.

People who are overweight can feel tired and fatigued, leading to fatigue.

When I first started trading, I was a single woman. This means I did everything from AZ.

From profit came responsibilities and other goals to achieve, which means I need to hire new team members.

We are overworked and my team is sometimes overwhelmed.

There were many times when I stayed behind to provide emotional support and guidance if needed.

Although I have a partner who is responsible for doing that, I can go home to rest and do my work, I feel guilty that I can’t leave my team.

How do you know if you are in a similar situation?

Ask yourself: are you focusing on the needs of your team and customers and are you neglecting your own needs?

Are you in control of your team and focused on the details of your business? If so, these are signs that it is your fault.

So, how can the situation be saved?

When I realized that I was doing something that was ruining my business, I took a step back.

This means I went back to review my work at work. I learned to delegate and not forget myself in the process.

While it’s important to be hands-on, it’s also important to let others help you carry that responsibility.

No matter how good you think you are, you can’t do it all.

As my mother used to say: “You are not Superman. You can’t do it all.”

Being an employee is an important quality for business leaders, but don’t neglect your needs as you meet the needs of your team, customers and your business.
