James Gunn Says DC Is Focused on the ‘New DCU’ and Telling the ‘Biggest Story Ever Told’ Across Multiple Projects

DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn took to Twitter after seeing many tweets calling for “#SaveLegendsofTomorrow” and “#ReleaseTheAyerCut,” and he wanted to share it, even though the joins “everything we’re embarking on on this journey,” the studio’s first thoughts on “the story going forward, launching the new DCU, and telling the greatest story told in many films, television shows, and animated programs.”

Gunn, who shares the CEO duties of DC Studios with producer Peter Safran, wanted to open up about the future of DC and the different interests of the fans.
